Entry & Access Control
Entry Systems
Choosing the correct entry system is possibly the final decision to make on your complete electric gate installation. Below are examples of the various types of entry systems to help you make an informed choice.

Audio Entry (wired): This is a hard wired system where a cable will need to be run between the entry panel and the internal handset. It is normally used as a cost effective way to facilitate call and speech for your visitors or customers and is suitable for use where the security risk is low and video is not required.

Video Entry (wired): Also a hard wired system where cable will need to be run between the entry panel and the internal handset. It is probably the most popular form of entry system which facilitates speech, call and video, enabling you to see who is calling. Video entry systems come in black and white or colour and are suitable where the security risk is high.

Wireless Entry: This is a wireless system used in applications where the use of cable is either difficult or impossible. It facilitates call and speech and is a popular choice as you can be anywhere within your home or garden to receive a call and control the opening of your gates.

GSM Entry System: This is an entry system utilising mobile phone technology to facilitate call and speech for your visitors or customers and is used in applications where the use of cable is not possible or, for example, in farm gates where the gate is a considerable distance from the house. It is ever increasing in popularity as it gives you all the advantages of a mobile phone. You can again be anywhere within your home or garden to receive a call and control the opening of your gates.

BT Entry System: This is an entry system utilising BT phone line technology to facilitate call and speech for your visitors or customers and is used in applications where the use of cable is not possible or as a cost effective solution for communication to a multiple apartment or high rise building.
